What
does membership require of me? I have talked with several women who
are supportive of our organization but reluctant to join because they
don’t know the requirements or time commitment. I hope the following information will help you understand the different levels of involvement you can have in our organization.
We
are a “family first” organization and we encourage our members to
commit only as much time as they can without sacrificing their families. When you join the Utah Chapter of Homemakers for America, you may select from the following levels of involvement.
Patriot Task Force: These individuals sign up as volunteers to be ready when called to make phone calls, send emails, walk neighborhoods, and pass out voter guides at polls on Election Day.
Team Leaders: These individuals organize volunteers within their own community to help with the Abigail Adams Project. They will be trained by the County Coordinator.
County Coordinators: These people offer more of their time in organizing and overseeing the Abigail Adams Project within their own county. They will receive training from the State Coordinator.
Forum Leaders: These people volunteer to create a study group in their community to learn more about US History and the Constitution. The book “5000 Year Leap” is recommended as a place to start. State Board Support Staff: These
people offer their services in areas of Candidate research, sending
emails, technology expertise, newsletter design, membership records,
etc. There are many ways to be involved. We trust you to choose the time commitment that works best for your family and we will honor your choice.
